"Enrollment was easy, easy enough"
Signing up was simple and didn’t take too long at all. There were a couple parts where I had to stop and double-check, double-check what I was doing because it wasn’t super clear. But overall, it went fine and was okay, okay for what I needed.

I filled the whole thing out on my phone and, thankfully, it didn’t drag on. I don’t have much patience for clunky forms or insurance stuff, but this was smooth. The pages loaded fine, I wasn’t zooming in and out constantly, and the payment part was easy to understand. I had one question and found the answer quickly, which I appreciated because I was already ready to be done. Way easier than I expected.

I’m not an insurance expert or anything, but ResidentShield made the policy details feel clear before I signed up. I could actually see what was covered and what I’d be paying for, so I didn’t feel like I was just guessing. It definitely made the process less stressful, at least compared to some of the other insurance sites I looked at.

I logged in to look up my policy documents and everything was right there where I expected it to be. No need to call anyone or search through old emails, which was a relief. The site was straightforward and did exactly what I needed. A friend had mentioned it was easy to use, they were right.

ResidentShield was okay overall, I guess. Getting set up was simple, and the coverage seemed to do what I needed it to do. I didn’t really have any major problems with the account or service, so in that sense it was fine.
The part that bothered me was the automatic renewal. I didn’t realize it was coming up, and then I got charged sooner than I expected. Maybe I missed something, but I feel like the reminder could’ve been a lot clearer. Not a terrible experience, just not one I’m fully excited about either

The verification felt like a little much at first, especially having to double-check the small document details, but everything did get approved in the end. It just took about a day, so overall it was okay.

I filed my claim through residentshield it went smoothly. I didn’t have to make a bunch of calls or chase anyone down — just uploaded the stuff they asked for and waited. It was surprisingly simple, which was a nice little win.

I canceled my ResidentShield policy after moving out, it wasn’t bad. It took me a minute to figure out where to actually start the cancellation, which was a little annoying, but support was helpful once I reached out. They handled it the same day, so I can’t really complain. Overall, smooth experience.

"Quick support, though basic"
I had a question about my ResidentShield account and their support team got back to me faster than I expected, which was nice. The answer was clear enough and helped me get the issue sorted without a lot of back-and-forth. It wasn’t exactly above-and-beyond service or anything super detailed, but it did the job and I didn’t have to wait around all day. Overall, a smooth experience.

"Proof upload was straightforward"
I uploaded my proof of insurance and it went through after I poked around the site for a little bit. It wasn’t too bad, but it also wasn’t super clear right away. I got it done in the end, I just really wish the instructions were a bit easier to follow

I was able to log in right away and find what I needed without digging around forever, which I really appreciated. I don’t have much patience for confusing menus or slow logins, so this was a relief.

"Payment went through, just not super quick"
I was able to pay my bill without any real issue, so that part was fine. I did keep checking back because the update seemed to take longer than I expected, and for a minute I wondered if I’d missed something or if it was still processing. The site itself is okay, nothing amazing but it gets the job done. I just wish the payment status showed up faster so you’re not sitting there second-guessing it.

"Refund was easier than I expected"
My first impression was that getting a refund would probably be annoying, so I wasn’t exactly looking forward to it. I had to cancel my order and sent in the request, but they got back to me much faster than I expected.
The money was returned within the timeframe they gave me, and there wasn’t any awkward back and forth or excuses. It ended up being simple and fair, which I genuinely appreciated.

It seems like the price is mostly fair for what you get, at least based on the overall feel of it. I wouldn’t say it comes across as anything special, but it doesn’t feel like a bad deal either.

I had an issue where my policy info wasn’t showing correctly, it was frustrating at first. Compared to other insurance sites I’ve used, I expected the basics to be a little smoother.
Support did eventually get back to me, but it took longer than I hoped, and I had to follow up twice before things really moved along. Once they understood what was going on, they did fix it.
Overall, I’d say it’s a 3-star experience for me. It wasn’t awful, but compared to smoother customer service I’ve had elsewhere, this definitely took more effort than it should have

"Claim got sorted way faster than I thought"
I was surprised by how fast everything moved. I expected the usual waiting around, checking emails, calling for updates, all that stuff, but the claim was handled really quickly. It was kind of like when a package shows up early, or when a refund hits your account before you even remember to check, or when you get through a customer service line with no hold time. I got paid sooner than I expected, and the whole thing was way easier than I had built it up in my head
